Central Park allows ceremonies at a fixed set of locations, on a fixed calendar, with rules about chairs, arches, amplified music and guest numbers that change by site. We file the permit, hold the spot, walk the route with you beforehand, and stand at the entrance on the day so your guests don't end up at the wrong bridge. Everything else — the officiant, the photographer, the bouquet — is already in the package.

A refundable $500 deposit holds your date. A signed contract and 50% retainer confirms planning. The Conservatory Garden carries an additional $500 city permit fee unless you're on the Grand package.
Yes, for any ceremony with guests at a named location. A permit is what stops another event being booked on top of you, and it’s included in every package — we file it as soon as your deposit clears.d
Autumn Saturdays go eight to ten months ahead. Spring is similar. Weekdays and winter dates are often available inside three months. If your date is tight, tell us and we’ll check the calendar before you pay anything.
Cop Cot is the only sheltered site, so it’s the usual fallback. Otherwise we move your date at no charge, subject to permit availability — we agree the alternative with you at the walkthrough, not on the morning.
It depends on the site. Bow Bridge allows nothing but people. Conservatory Garden and Cop Cot allow seating and florals. Amplified sound is restricted almost everywhere; acoustic musicians are fine. We’ll tell you the exact rules for your location before you commit.
No — you collect that yourselves from the City Clerk’s office. There’s a 24-hour waiting period between issue and ceremony, and it’s valid for 60 days. We’ll send you the steps and the nearest office when you book.
The $500 deposit is fully refundable until you sign the contract and pay the retainer. After that, standard cancellation terms apply and we’ll set them out in writing first.
