Past Bethesda Terrace, along the Lake, under the elms of the Mall — with a licensed driver who's run this route for years and will tell you what you're looking at.
Every slot comes off the operator's calendar. If you can book it, it exists.
Cancel up to 24 hours before and get everything back. No form, no argument.
Every driver is vetted, insured and licensed to work inside the park.
Small enough that you can hear the guide and nobody spends the ride catching up.
Search this and you’ll see anything from $29 to $110 for what looks like the same ride. It isn’t the same ride — some are ninety minutes, some don’t include the bike, and several add booking and card fees at the last screen. Here’s the whole picture, including the part that isn’t in our favour.
~$22 / hour
+$15 helmet & lock deposit
Cheaper on paper. No guide, no route, and most people spend the first twenty minutes working out which drive goes north.
Tour rate + booking fee
+ card fee
The same bike, the same guide, the same 10am departure, with a middleman’s margin stacked on top.
$59–$85 bundled
Sold as a saving. In practice the park portion is shortened to fit the bus schedule and there are no photo stops.

Children under 12 ride at the child rate on group tours and must be accompanied by an adult. Child seats, trailers and tagalong attachments are added at checkout, subject to availability. Groups larger than 15 ride as two guided pods — call +1 (929) 483-7420 and we’ll arrange it.
Most sites list landmark names and leave you guessing. This is the route, in order, with the parts that actually matter.
Bike sized to you, helmet on, brakes checked. Ten minutes before you move.
Fifteen acres of lawn with the West Side towers standing directly behind it. First proper view.
The Angel of the Waters, the tiled arcade, the Lake behind. Bikes locked, you walk down the stairs.
PHOTO STOP
Cast iron from 1862, then the Imagine mosaic with the Dakota’s gables over the treeline.
Past the castle and the Delacorte, then the long open stretch most visitors never reach.
Down the East Drive and out at 59th. Two blocks from where you started.
Routes shift slightly for road closures, races, parades and film shoots. Your guide will tell you before you set off — not halfway round. On winter tours the north loop is shortened and the time goes into the photo stops instead.

The best skyline in the park, doubled in the water. This is the photograph you'll actually keep.

Two and a half miles long is further than it looks on a map. Walking, most people manage the southern third and leave thinking that was Central Park. In two hours on a bike you cover the Terrace, the Lake, Strawberry Fields, the Great Lawn and the Reservoir, and you still get off at the two places worth standing in.

Walking a park this size with children is a negotiation. On bikes it stops being one. Kids over seven ride their own, younger ones go in a seat, a trailer or on a tagalong, and the guide sets the pace to whoever is slowest. Two hours passes without a single complaint about legs.

Ghostbusters, Sex and the City, When Harry Met Sally, Home Alone 2, Enchanted — a remarkable amount of screen time happens in these 843 acres. Your guide will stop at the exact spots, tell you what was shot where, and point out the frames you have watched a hundred times without knowing.

Golden hour in Central Park lasts about ninety minutes and the best three vantage points are a mile apart. On foot you get one of them. On a bike you get all three, with a guide who knows which side of the Reservoir the sun sets behind. Add the photo package and someone else shoots you in them.

If Central Park is one line on a packed itinerary, this is the most park you can see in the least time without it turning into a march. Two hours, starting three minutes from Columbus Circle, and you finish back where the subway is.

Rear-mounted, for children up to 40lb. Fitted and checked before you leave the shop.
Enclosed, seats two, with a rain cover. The easiest way to bring under-fives along.
A half-bike that attaches behind yours, so a six-year-old pedals without steering.
Your guide shoots at both stops on a real camera and files the images within 48 hours.
Add any of these at checkout, or tell us on the phone and we’ll have it fitted before you arrive. Add-ons are subject to availability on the day — booking ahead guarantees them.
The shop is one block from Columbus Circle and about ninety seconds from the Merchants’ Gate entrance. Your guide’s name and mobile number are in your confirmation email, so you’re not standing on a pavement guessing which group is yours.

Arrive ten minutes early so we can size your bike properly — it’s the difference between a comfortable two hours and a sore one. Running late? Call the desk on +1 (929) 483-7420 and we can usually hold the group five minutes.
Two hours door to door, covering about 6.1 miles. That includes the fitting at the start and two stops where you get off the bike, so you’re riding for roughly ninety minutes of it.
Not very. Central Park has gentle rolling hills and one real climb at the north end, which the classic route avoids. The pace is set by the slowest rider, and the guide would rather stop than lose anybody. If you can ride a bike at all, you can do this tour.
Capped at fifteen. That’s a hard limit, not a target — if the group fills, the next departure opens rather than the cap moving. Private tours are your group only.
A Trek or Giant hybrid with 21 gears, sized to your height, with the seat adjusted before you leave the shop. Helmets are included and required for under-14s by New York law. E-bikes aren’t used on guided tours — everybody needs to ride at the same pace.
Yes. Children over about seven usually ride their own bike; younger ones go in a rear child seat, a trailer or on a tagalong, all available as add-ons. Kids’ bikes come in three sizes. Every child under 12 rides at $35, and must be with an adult.
No. The park drives have been closed to cars since 2018, so the whole route is on car-free road and path. The only vehicles you’ll see inside are park maintenance and the occasional pedicab.
You can reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before your departure — use the link in your confirmation or call the desk. Cancellations you make aren’t refunded, which is why we make rescheduling free and unlimited.
Light rain, the tour runs and you’ll be handed a poncho. If the operator cancels for weather, you get a full refund automatically — no form, no argument. You can also move to another day at no cost right up to the last minute in bad forecasts.
Daily, year round. Winter tours are quieter, the bare canopy gives you the best skyline views of the year, and the north loop is shortened with the time moved into the stops.
The classic route stays inside the park. Private tours can add a short stretch of Fifth Avenue or Columbus Circle on request — tell your guide at the start, not halfway round.
Instantly, by email, with your departure time, the shop address, your guide’s name and a mobile number for the day. If it hasn’t arrived in ten minutes, check spam and then call us.
The same bikes, no guide and no schedule. Take the route map and go at your own pace.
Slower, seated, and the classic. Per carriage rather than per person.
Less ground, far more detail. The right choice if you’d rather stand still and listen.
Departures every hour from 9am, daily, year round. Groups capped at fifteen, bikes and helmets included, and free rescheduling right up to 24 hours before.
